Women's Ministry
Immanuel Baptist Church has an active Women's Ministries group. Mrs. LaFerne Foster and Mrs Sherye Shreffler serve as Co-Coordinators. Please find below the calendar of events for the remainder of 2010 and 2011.
We have one (1) active circle at this time: Rachel Circle which meets in the Church Parlor on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am. All ladies are invited to attend.
Scrapbooking weekends are held periodically throughout the year. Please check back as we will post the next date when it is announced.
IBC's Women's Ministries has its own version of "Meals on Wheels" providing meals to our members and regular attenders and families going through crisis situations. We have a meal coordinator for the Bradley/Bourbonnais area (call Jerry Gambrel at 932.3006); one for the Kankakee/Herscher area (call Virginia Anderson at 939.4168) and one for the Chebanse/Clifton/Ashkum area (please call Pat Vaughn at 694.3791). If you know of someone in need, please contact the church office for the name and number of the coodinator.
We also publish a yearly Ladies Prayer Calendar. We encourage all our ladies to keep her calendar handy and pray each dayfor the name listed . These calendars will be mailed no later than the last week of August. If you have not received yours, please contact the church office.
